Patch 0.0.2 - The wide doors update


Version 0.0.2, a minor update, has been released. Changes (possible spoilers):

  • Shows a random tip at the start to help players learn the game.
  • Doors are now two tiles wide, to avoid pairs of monsters getting stuck on doors.
  • Platformer: better control by implementing "coyote time" and input buffering for jumps (reduces accidental use of the jetpack).
  • Boss and lackeys will no longer chase the player out of the boss room (prevents you from being able to cheese the boss by locking him in the doorway).
  • Added stats to the end game screen.
  • Bugfix: No longer sometimes places two monsters on the same square, causing one of them to fly off due to the collision.
  • Balance: reduce gem drop rates (monsters no longer always drop a gem).
  • Balance: reduce laser damage from 2 to 1 (to account for the player having fewer gems).
